Black Hills Woman Magazine | From the Editor

Autumn is a time for change. The kids go back to school, the weather cools and our landscape begins to change color. Change can be good. You’ve probably noticed a change in the look of Black Hills Woman Magazine. We’ve gone square! After doing a couple of reader surveys, we know the majority of you prefer the smaller size – it’s convenient and fits in your purse. However, our advertisers, which make the publication possible, prefer larger ads. So we are striking the balance with this slightly larger, but still small version of BH Woman. It’s also just fun and cool, like the women it covers. We hope you enjoy the new look and that the hectic pace of September slows to an easy breezy October for you.

Over $800 to WAVI

Thank you to those who purchased fitness planners. We were able to make a nice donation to Working Against Violence, Inc. WAVI has more planners if you still wish to purchase one for $20. A big thank you to our partners on the project: Nucleo Fitness, Henry Roy Photography, Tout Advertising, and all of the models who volunteered.
